Everyone in my family loves our catbird baby carriers. Even the dog.

by Leslie Brinkley of And Her Little Dog, Too In my last CatBird Baby post, I shared with you the Benefits of Babywearing, but now that I have had the chance to really test out the carriers myself I wanted to share with you my true review of the CatBird Baby baby carriers. In the past three months {soon to be four!} with my brand new baby boy, the most used item by far has been my baby carriers. I use my pikkolo & mei tai carriers every. single. day. [caption id="attachment_689" align="aligncenter" width="896"]Metropolitan pikkolo Metropolitan pikkolo[/caption] Anytime we take Jackson out on a walk {which happens 3-4 times a day} or run an errand around town {we walk a lot since we live in the city}, its so much easier to scoop Brooks up into a baby carrier than anything else. I love having him close to me and I love watching him look around at the world right in front of me. [caption id="attachment_693" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Epcot at Disney World! Epcot at Disney World![/caption] And Brooks LOVES babywearing just as much {if not more} than I do. I think that has something to do with the fact that I started babywearing as soon as we got home from the hospital, when he was still teeny tiny. He got used to it right away and enjoys the comfort and closeness of it. At first I was a little intimidated with putting the carrier on myself, I even tried to practice with Jackson before Brooks was born, but it’s so easy to do {even easier with an actual baby as opposed to a dog!} it literally takes 30 seconds to get on. [caption id="attachment_691" align="aligncenter" width="640"]mei tai #selfie time mei tai #selfie time[/caption] It’s funny now because as soon as I start strapping Brooks up in the carrier, Jackson knows its time for a walk and he gets really excited. I alternate between the mei tai-style {the green one} and the buckle style of the pikkolo carriers {the black one}  just to change things up a bit. During our recent  long weekend trip to Disney, bringing the carriers made life so much easier for my husband and I when walking around the parks {Yes, we were crazy enough to bring a 3 month old to Disney, but it turned out really well!}. And the organic, lightweight fabric of the mei tai carrier kept Brooks from overheating, while still allowing him to be worn. I can’t wait to change up some of the positions Brooks can sit in as he gets older! I’m so grateful that I was selected as a new mom to take part in the CatBird baby blogger review project. It has been a wonderful way for me to experience and embrace babywearing ********************** Why do YOU love babywearing? Please share your thoughts! **********************
