Secure waist strap behind you with curved panel against legs. If you wish to adjust the width of the carrier at all, using the cord locks, do so before securing the waist buckle.

Pick up baby and hold tummy to tummy with legs straddling your middle.

Bring carrier body up behind baby's back, taking one shoulder strap up over your shoulder. Take across back diagonally, under opposite arm to front and secure buckle.

Repeat with other shoulder strap.

Adjust webbing. Make sure there is no "pouching" of fabric beneath baby's bum. Put your hands between the backs of baby's legs and the inside of the carrier fabric and smooth out if necessary to get baby well-seated.

Remember the buckles adjust in both directions and to pull the webbing tail parallel to the strap when adjusting.

We suggest pulling up one shoulder strap or using one hand to lift up baby's bum while adjusting the opposite webbing tail as this takes tension off the buckle and makes it adjust more easily.
